Blogging is a labor of love.  Bloggers who reside in the long tail and blog consistently over years do it out of an unfathomable passion.

Those who blog for profit, may move from one blog to another or to another venture totally if the end results doesn’t land in the black.  Behavior is much different for blogs born of love however

Over the years, I’ve identified two related reasons why I blog.  One is media literacy, and the other is leverage.

The ability to publish your own thoughts and ideas chimes a sense of urgency with me.  Comprehension and effective method in our digital age are two key factors that determine the level of media literacy.

This leads into the built in leverage that modern online tools offers individuals and businesses to spread their message.  Without the reach blogs and other tools permit my work would not spread.

Those are the mechanics of my passion, and within those mechanics lie my passion.
